QuaranSCENE Collective
FAQ
What is the QuaranSCENE Collective?
It will be a group compiled of filmmakers all with the goal to make a feature film while in Quarantine.
How do I join the collective?
Fill out the form bellow and you will be contacted if selected.
How many people will be selected to join the collective?
I have the ability to best serve around 5 filmmakers.
How much will it cost?
The cost to me is $0…zero…nothing. The cost to you is whatever time and money you put into it yourself, but I will share with you techniques to where you may not need to spend any money.
Do I need to be an actor?
No, but it sure helps if you have some acting experience or at least someone in your house hold that is comfortable acting.
Do I need to have a script?
Unlike a lot of writing workshops and such that say don’t come with a script, for this collective feel free to bring something if you’ve got it. We will be giving feedback on scripts so it probably would help if you are willing to make adjustments to your story.
Will I retain the rights to my film?
Absolutely, that is the last thing you should give up. There will be an agreement all members will be required to sign if they want to participate that will state the each person will retain ownership of their ideas and films.
Are you distributing the films?
No, but I will give some suggestions and ideas on where you can take the film to make some extra money from it.
If I am not selected, can I still join in?
Yes, your are encouraged to still participate. The collective will be an exclusive group with a focus on helping each other through the process.
